There was some flickering in the menus that was beyond my skill to resolve though so it's waiting on someone else to pick up where I left off before it's ready for a wider audience. So far, not much is known about this firmware update, other than that it is version 1.3.3, but an interesting note is that apparently the upcoming firmware contains some code that blocks Magic Lantern.
